Permanent makeup is designed to fade over time. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo. The sun and some kinds of lighting (tanning beds) can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. Following the given aftercare instructions is critical to getting your best healed results. An annual touch up for permanent makeup should be scheduled. Touch-ups are normal and expected for Permanent Cosmetics. Please note that final results vary and CANNOT be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals. A follow-up appointment is required 6-10 weeks after your initial session where we can assess your pigment retention and perfect your permanent makeup! The 6-10 week touchup is included in the price for ombre brows. If you go past the 10 week mark, you will be charged.

-Have prolonged bleeding-if heavy bleeding occurs, the client will need to sit up to help slow down the blood flow.
-If you have keloid scars-This can show that the client is more prone to scarring.

This method creates pixilated dots to mimic powder or makeup filled brows with no harsh front or outline.
This shadow technique is minimally invasive, lasts longer, creates the least amount of trauma, fades best over time and can be buildable from light to dark.
This is for ANY skin type, and is the preferred method especially for oily or mature skin. It generally lasts 2-3 years. The 6-10 week touch up is strongly recommended to get optimal results.
Unlike Nano Brows or a Combination brow, an ombre brow (also known as a powder brow) has no hair strokes and is made up entirely of machine shading.
Like other brow styles, an ombre brow is semi-permanent and will fade over time. Ombre brows may look intense at first, but the results heal to a soft, powdery finish. Please trust the process and follow aftercare.
If you fill in your brows every day and want the least amount of maintenance, book your ombre brow appointment today!
-
Nano Brows is a method of creating realistic hair strokes using a tattoo machine and a single needle.
This technique is less invasive than microblading, resulting in less pain and bleeding.
Nano Brows are suitable for all skin types.
It generally lasts 2-3 years. The 6-10 week touch up is strongly recommended to get optimal results.
Unlike Nano Shading or a Combination brow, Nano Brows have hair strokes throughout the whole brow with no shading.
Like other brow styles, this is semi-permanent and will fade over time. Your brows may look intense at first, but they will heal to a natural, yet defined brow! Please trust the process and follow aftercare.
If you struggle with hair density or fill in your brows every day and want natural, more defined brows, book your Nano Brow appointment today!
-
Nano Shading a technique of Nano Strokes blended in with shading in the tails end of the brows.
This technique is less invasive than microblading, resulting in less pain and bleeding. It is very helpful for clients who may not have enough density for only hair strokes.
Nano Shading is best for those with dry-combination skin.
It generally lasts 2-3 years. The 6-10 week touch up is strongly recommended to get optimal results.
Unlike Nano Brows or a Combination brow, Nano Shading has hair strokes in the fronts and along the perimeter of the brows with machine shading throughout the middle and tail end of the brow.
Like other brow styles, this is semi-permanent and will fade over time. Your brows may look intense at first, but they will heal to a natural, yet defined brow! Please trust the process and follow aftercare.
If you struggle with hair density or fill in your brows every day and want fuller, more defined brows, book your Nano Shading appointment today!

Combo Brows are a combination of Nano Brows and Ombré Brows.
This technique is less invasive than microblading, resulting in less pain and bleeding.
Combo Brows are suitable for any skin type.
It generally lasts 2-3 years. The 6-10 week touch up is strongly recommended to get optimal results.
Unlike Nano Shading, Combo Brows only have hair strokes from the front to the middle of the brow to give the brow a natural look, which transitions into powdery machine shading to give the brow more fullness and density.
Like other brow styles, this is semi-permanent and will fade over time. Your brows may look intense at first, but they will heal to a natural, yet defined brow! Please trust the process and follow aftercare.
If you struggle with hair density or fill in your brows every day and want natural, yet defined brows, book your Combo Brow appointment today!

Most clients report little to NO pain throughout their procedures. While pain tolerance varies between clients, a topical 5% Lidocaine is used throughout the procedure to make you comfortable. Having the procedure during your menstrual cycle may increase your sensitivity.

Preparing for your appointment is just as important for good, healed results as post care. Failure to follow pre-care may result in you being sent home the day of your appointment, so please read the following carefully! Coming prepared to your appointment means better healed results and a better overall experience.
-If you have reference pictures, please feel free to bring these to your appointment along with the brow pencil/powder you use.
TWO WEEKS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
-You must not use Retin-A near the brow area two weeks before or after your procedure.
-You will need to avoid direct water contact (ex: shower stream directly on face) for 7-10 days after your procedure. I recommend showering and washing your hair before your appointment. This includes excessive sweating, working out, pools, saunas, lakes, salt water and extreme sun exposure. Plan your vacations accordingly!
-If you get botox, fillers, chemical peels, microneedling or anything of the like, you need to do so four weeks before your appointment. I recommend getting this done before your procedure instead of waiting to do it after. In the case you do it after, wait at least four weeks to do so. It takes a minimum of two weeks to settle into the skin. Receiving it less than four weeks before your appointment, will result in your appointment being canceled, a cancellation fee, and you being sent home and made to reschedule at a later time.
-Two weeks before your appointment you need to stop all waxing, razors and threading of your brow area. I recommend coming to your appointment with your brows grown out, no need to have them cleaned up before! I prefer to see how they grow naturally, and will clean them up for you at your appointment. If you need to clean them up beforehand, please do so at least 2 weeks before your appointment.
24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
-To minimize bleeding during the procedure, please avoid any alcohol and caffeine. Blood thinning medications such as Ibuprofen and Advil should also be avoided.
-Map directions to the studio. I have a STRICT 10-minute late policy, so please plan ahead to make sure you know how long the commute to the studio takes, and plan for traffic if appropriate.
DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT:
-Wash your hair! You will not be able to get your brows wet for the next 10-14 days, so wash your hair beforehand to give yourself a few extra days before your next wash!
-Avoid exercise. Exercising increases blood flow and will cause excessive bleeding, leading to poor healed results.
-Makeup: You are welcome to come to your appointment with or without makeup on. We will be taking lots of photos, so come however you are most comfortable. If you regularly fill in your brows, coming with at least your brows filled in helps me see your regular shape.
-Bring your brow makeup. If you have a specific product you love, bring it along! Also bring along any concealer and or powder you use!
-RELAX! Feeling nervous is normal. We are going to work together to make your vision become a reality! Take a deep breath and get excited!.
-
-Immediately after getting your brows done, you may experience minor redness or swelling around the treated area, which typically goes away within 24 hours. Over the next few hours, the pigment in the skin will oxidize, making the brows look darker and warmer (red) than they were initially. This is normal and expected. Pigment typically fades anywhere from 20-40% once fully healed.
-Around day 3-7, you may notice light scabbing and flaking on the treated area. This is NORMAL! Please refrain from picking at the brows. Doing so will result in loss of pigment in those areas and can cause scarring. Brows may appear spotty or patchy until they are finished healing. Once all the flaking is complete (usually around day 10), the brows will appear much lighter. The pigment will darken over the next 4-6 weeks and the pigment will return to the skin in it’s healed color.
-At 4-6 weeks, your brows will be fully healed. Whatever pigment that does not return will be addressed at your touch up appointment. At this appointment, we will assess your retention, touch up the spots that did not stick, and can adjust the pigment color to give you perfect brows! Once the brows have healed from your touch up appointment, you will have beautiful, full brows for 12-36 months!
-I will give you detailed aftercare instructions after your appointment, along will a take home care kit.
-
-Smoking- smokers may notice that their semi-permanent cosmetics will fade faster
-People will oily skin tend to need a brow touch up sooner than people with dry skin
-Anemia and iron deficiency- your body will absorb these iron-based pigments more quickly
-SUN EXPOSURE- Increased sun exposure to the sun or exposure to a tanning bad, will cause premature fading. You will want to use a special sunscreen for your semi-permanent cosmetics. I recommend color guard; it can be found on Amazon.
-Age and metabolism- The faster your metabolism is the faster the pigment will fade.
-Bleeding during the procedure- Excessive bleeding during your procedure will greatly affect how your body retains pigment. While this is not entirely in our control, it is important that you follow before care instructions to help minimize bleeding. THIS INCLUDES AVOIDING CAFFEINE, NSAIDS AND ALCOHOL 24 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. Failure to follow any of these instructions will result in losing your deposit, losing your appointment and having to put down an additional NON-REFUNDABLE deposit for a new appointment.

Initial sessions usually take about 3-4 hours.

Yes! PMU is a two-step process, and a touch up is strongly recommended to get the best results. Also known as the “perfecting session,” a touch up is done 6-8 weeks after your initial session, and is where we assess your retention, perfect the shape and color, and add more dimension. Touch ups are especially important and add to the overall results and longevity of your PMU.
APPOINTMENT CAN BE ANYWHERE BETWEEN 6-10 WEEKS. THIS TOUCHUP IS INCLUDED IN THE INITIAL PRICE. IF YOU GO PAST THE 10 WEEK MARK, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $175 FOR YOUR TOUCH UP.
